It is no secret how much I love Supernatural. It is my favorite show and if you get me started, I could talk forever. The community of people that watch this show are like a family. And that's what we call each other, the "SPN Family." The idea that a world wide group of strangers can band together and do amazing things is one of the things that make this show so great. I went to my first convention back in September and it just increased my love for this show. Meeting the cast and hearing everyone talk about how much they care about this show and these characters was amazing. That's one of the reasons I am so proud of last night's episode. I'll admit, when I first heard that Misha and Mark were not in the 200th episode, I was more than a little upset, especially because they have grown to become my favorite characters. However, I saw a comment on tumblr that said "Of course Mark and Misha aren't in it. It's not THIER 200th episode. It's Jensen and Jared's." And I felt like it was absolutely correct. At it's core, Supernatural is about 2 brothers that drive across the country, saving people and hunting things. That's exactly what this episode was about. It was a homage to everything Sam and Dean have been through, and the emotional journey that the fans have gone through as well. It was a thank you and an acknowledgement to the fans. Robbie took his time to throw in little nods to the past 10 years and as a fan from season one, I really appreciated it. He even took some of the "fan specific" things (Destiel, Adam, the Samulet) and pretty much said "hey, we hear you." It was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better episode. So congrats on 10 years and 200 Episodes. I think I can sum it up in 2 simple words, "not bad."
