She told us to pick a table, which we did and then she simply said, "You should go to the bathroom." So I said "okkkkkaayy," and we head down the hallway to the bathroom. It was a TARDIS!
After that it was time to decide on what to eat. The menu was simple enough, with 2 different offerings of fish fingers and custard (of course), as well as your standard English fare, Sheppards Pie, Bangers and Mash and the like.
We both decided on cups of chili as a starter, and the meatloaf and mash as an entree.
The chili was pretty good, although I'm not sure it was homemade. The mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious though. The meatloaf was ok, I could take it or leave it. We had the brownie sundae for desert, just a simple brownie with ice cream, caramel and whipped cream on top. All in all, it was a decent meal, if not more than a little pricey. The atmosphere was really nice, there was plenty of art on the walls, as well as a tv playing 10th Doctor episodes. I would definitely recommend any Whovian to go, although be prepared to spend some money.
