Ok, I realize some of you have no means to see it until it airs on PBS, so I will keep this spoiler free. Putting aside my love for all things Benedict, this episode was bloody brilliant! The first 3 minutes alone were captivating and reminded me just how much I love this damn show. We get to take a closer look at the relationship between Sherlock and his brother Mycroft and a glimpse into what they were like as children. We also get to see just what Anderson has been up to since Sherlock's death and we learn something new about him in the process (as if my Anderson feels could take anymore). But the moment everyone was waiting for, Sherlock and John's reunion. It does not disappoint and we get to see just how much of a toll the seperation has been for the detective and his doctor. And then there's Mary. The scenes between Martin and Amanda are utterly adorable. The chemistry between Benedict, Martin, and Amanda is effortless and so much fun to watch, however I can't shake the feeling that there's something about Mary that we just don't know...
All in all, like I said, it was thrilling from beginning to end, filled with the sass that we have come to love. My only complaint is that there are only 2 episodes left, and then it's back to the waiting game.....
